Michael W. Kelly has 20 years’ experience serving clients in the construction industry. Kelly represents project participants in contract administration, claim preparation and dispute resolution. Kelly has extensive experience with defective design and construction claims, delay claims, mechanics liens, payment bond claims, and construction insurance claims.
A member of the Illinois, Northern District of Illinois, and Northern District of Illinois Bankruptcy Bars, Kelly’s peers selected him as an Illinois Super Lawyer in Construction Litigation in 2021 and 2022. Kelly is an invited Fellow of the Society of Construction Lawyers America.
Kelly earned his J.D. magna cum laude in 2003 from the University of Illinois College of Law – Champaign where he distinguished himself for the following:
